    Mulled Sloe Gin is a warm, spiced cocktail that brings out the rich fruit character of Humdinger Sloe Gin. Crafted with Barkers Apple & Elderflower syrup, fragrant whole spices, and a touch of vanilla, this comforting serve is gently heated and finished with a generous pour of our NZ Sloe Gin. Garnished with orange and cinnamon, it’s a cosy winter drink full of depth, warmth, and seasonal charm.

    Cocktail Ingredients

    Humdinger Mulled Sloe Gin cocktail glass
    • 25ml Barkers NZ Apple & Elderflower Syrup
    • 225ml Water
    • 1 star anise
    • 1 cinnamon stick
    • 3 cloves
    • 3 cardamom pods
    • 1/2 vanilla pod
    • 50ml Humdinger Sloe Gin
    • Orange slice and cinnamon stick to garnish

    Cocktail Method

    1. Add the Barkers Apple & Elderflower syrup, water, star anise, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom pods, and vanilla pod to a pot.
    2. Heat gently and simmer for 10 minutes, stopping just before it reaches the boil.
    3. Strain into a heatproof mug or glass.
    4. Add 50ml Humdinger Sloe Gin and stir gently to combine.
    5. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and orange slice, then serve warm.

    Rich plum and berry notes from the Sloe Gin are lifted by gentle apple sweetness and layered with warming spice.
