This Limited Edition Humdinger Gin is made by aging our award-winning Dry Gin in a used Pinot Noir barrel for 6.5 months.

An aroma of sweet red fruits is supported by the flavour of spiced fruit opening this interesting gin, moving into a subtle oak body and a lingering vanilla finish.

Barrel details:

Matua Wines - Malborough, NZ
Used European Oak Pinot-Noir barrel, 6.5 months aged.
European Oak is delicate yet complex, imparting more of a butterscoth, vanilla taste profile. This is why it's used more for Pinot Noir & Chardonnay wines.

Drinking suggestions:

For a tall drink try with East Imperial Ginger Ale over ice.
For a short drink mix with a small amount of honey syrup over ice.
Other great mixers are the East Imperial Kima Kola and their Yuzu Lemonade.

An exciting and delicious gin

Shared this gin with adult family and we all agreed that it was delicious. Mixer was Fever Tree tonic. So good that I ordered another bottle.

Love this gin! Wish it wasn’t a limited edition as it’s the new favourite in our house.

Has a lovely depth of flavour

Tried this gin as suggested with dry ginger ale and loved it. The spiciness of the ginger melded perfectly with the deep oaky flavours of the gin. Very different. Love it.
