Three new cocktails (and the bundles to make them at home)
We've been busy behind the bar, and there are three new Humdinger cocktails on the site — each one built on a gin we make right here in Geraldine, and each one easy enough to pour on a Tuesday.
Pink Pop is berry-bright and sparkling: our Pink Gin with Barkers Raspberry Lemonade and a long splash of soda. Citrus Breeze is the crisp, clean one — Citrus Gin lengthened with Barkers Lemon, Lime & Bitters and soda over plenty of ice. And Sloe-Nade-o is the rich, plummy highball: our Sloe Gin from New Zealand's only sloe orchard, Barkers Old Fashioned Lemonade, a squeeze of lemon and soda. The best part? You don't have to hunt down the ingredients. Each cocktail now comes as a ready-to-mix bundle with everything in the glass — the gin, the Barkers syrup, the soda, and the extras — delivered anywhere in New Zealand. Pick your drink, add to cart, done. No half-used bottles of something you bought for one recipe.
Want to try before you buy? Come find our bar. We'll be pouring these same cocktails at Gintastic, Brews on The Bay, The Bandquet and Gindulgence — so you can taste a Pink Pop or a Sloe-Nade-o made the way we intend it, then take the bundle home to make it again. And if you're passing through Geraldine, the cellar door on State Highway 79 is always open for a tasting, no booking needed.
