Sloe Gin Fizz
Ingredients
Makes 1 cocktail
- 60ml Humdinger Sloe Gin
- 40ml lemon juice
- 30ml simple syrup
- 120ml soda water
- Lemon garnish
Method
- Add the sloe gin, lemon juice, and syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until well chilled
- Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice and strain the shaker into the glass
- Top with soda water
- Garnish with a lemon wedge

The Gin Fizz family of cocktails emerged in the late 19th century, known for their light, refreshing style. The Sloe Gin Fizz became especially popular in the mid-20th century, offering a fruitier, more vibrant take that still feels timeless today.
Variations
- Royal Sloe Gin Fizz: Top with champagne instead of soda water for a celebratory serve.
- Egg White Fizz: Add egg white before shaking for a silky texture and creamy foam.
- Herbal Fizz: Muddle fresh mint or basil before shaking to add a refreshing herbal lift.

Serving Tip
