A rich, juicy sloe gin made with 100% NZ-grown berries.

Crafted from handpicked sloe berries grown in New Zealand’s South Island, Humdinger Sloe Gin is bold, vibrant, and beautifully balanced.

Luscious notes of plum and almond lead the way, with just a hint of sweetness to round out the natural tartness of the fruit. It’s a deep, warming sip — equally at home neat, on ice, or with a splash of soda.

A true Kiwi original, shaped by our land and climate — and released only once a year.

Taste of home

Im from the UK and used to making my own sloe gin. Very happy to have found a source in NZ. The only downside of not making my own is not having the 'by product' of the steeped sloes, which are amazing pitted and mixed in ice cream. This gin is dangerously drinkable. Think I will need a second bottle.

Sloe n steady wins the race

After being introduced to Humdinger Sloe Gin last year, it is easily my (& my partners) go-to gin for a quiet drink at home after work on a Friday afternoon. The vibrant sweet taste is a refreshing change, whether drinking it neat or with some ice & tonic water.
We have Sloe-ly introduced some of our friends to this unique gin and cannot speak highly enough about it. Thank you.

Hi Andrew,
What a fantastic review — thank you! We love hearing that Humdinger Sloe Gin has become your Friday evening ritual. It’s exactly what we hoped for when we crafted it: something vibrant and refreshing that can be enjoyed neat or with a splash of tonic or soda.

We also really appreciate you Sloe-ly introducing your friends to it — word of mouth is the biggest compliment we could ever receive. As a sign of our appreciation we will pop a little something on the courier next week for you.

Thanks again!
Andrew @ Humdinger

Sloe Gin for the win!

Ever since I've known Humdinger to sell sloe gin, I've been there with bells on. Such a unique taste and it's absolutely beautiful. I drink mine neat and even then it disappears far too quickly for my liking. The only comment? Please make a larger bottle! All jokes aside, it's well worth trying and no doubt you'll end up like me... religiously setting a reminder on your phone to place an order when it's released each year.

2025 Sloe gin vintage is the best so far

Having bought this gin since its first release I can say that this years version is my hands down favourite. Deep fruity sloe berry flavours with a beautiful subtle botanical finish. I enjoy it neat, or with tonic. Might need a second bottle I think. LOVE it!
